Copalli Rum, a sustainable and fresh take on a craft spirit, sought to gain a better understanding of their target audience by evaluating which taglines and creatives resonated with different viewers. With a broad campaign target of 21+ interested in premium rum, rum cocktails, and rum recipes, they wanted to figure out what messaging and which platforms would be most successful with specific audiences.
Copalli Rum’s agency Door No. 3 chose to partner with Quantcast for its AI-driven advertising platform and real-time brand lift measurement tool. They used Quantcast’s Interest Based Audiences and lookalike modeling for prospecting as well as retargeting to focus on the ideal audience for Copalli’s new rum product. Simultaneously, they layered in Brand Lift Live by Quantcast™ (BLL) to test animated banners with different taglines and analyze which audiences connected with each one.
With the power of BLL, Copalli Rum gained granular insights into how specific audiences were responding in real time to a range of creatives. Overall, the campaign was successful with a 23% brand awareness lift, with individual ads reaching as high as 69%.
